Dicalite Minerals is an international industrial minerals company mining and manufacturing Diatomaceous Earth for use in Food and Beverage, Construction and Industrial, and Horticultural and Agricultural industries. Dicalite's Calcined and Flux-Calcined Diatomaceous Earth products are used as filter aids, lightweight inert fillers, insulating materials, absorbents, soil amendments, abrasives, anti-caking agent, desiccants, and many more. Dicalite's mining and manufacturing history date back to the 1920's. In 1986, Dicalite's Burney, California diatomite plant began production. Today, Dicalite's natural diatomite deposit located in Basalt, Nevada is the fourth oldest continually operated mine in the state of Nevada.
